Hearing impairment

The B.Ed. in Special Education (Hearing Impairment) is a two-year professional teacher education program designed for graduates who aspire to build a rewarding career in special education and rehabilitation.

Affiliated with Sunrise University, Alwar, Rajasthan, and approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), the course equips students with the knowledge and practical skills required to educate and support children with hearing impairments.

At NIPS Future Skills, students gain in-depth understanding of special education, child development, educational psychology, audiology, speech and language development, communication methods, assessment techniques, inclusive education, classroom management, Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and rehabilitation practices through a balanced combination of classroom learning and hands-on training.

The course includes teaching practice in special and inclusive schools, internships, field visits, case studies, hearing assessments, communication skill development, and rehabilitation training to provide valuable real-world experience.

They can also pursue higher education to further advance their careers in the field of special education and rehabilitation.
